Hello everyone, what a wonderful time Children and the Arts was! Thanks to everyone that helped make it such a fun day!

Our week ended with our Memorial Day Assembly. I was so impressed with each classroom's presentation, and how focused each student was upon doing their best. Mr. Russell's presentation about the Table for One and the meaning of Memorial Day was very meaningful, so much so that the Kindergarten students created their own version of the table. DCS students received a flag from Veteran Wayne Thomas and were so appreciative of the gift. I hope you have a lovely weekend and that I see many of you at the Memorial Day Parade in Dublin on Monday at 11am.

Next week bring the Circus with Troy Wonderle to DCS. Friday there will be two performances at 2pm and 6pm. We are thankful for the support from the Dublin Community Foundation to enable our students to have this special opportunity.

A message from Pam Murphy, RN DCS School Nurse

Recently, there have been numerous student requests for cough drops. As cough drops are considered medication, I am asking for your help in following the ConVal policy on medication administration at the elementary level. To do this, any medication, including cough drops, must be delivered to the school by a parent/guardian or their designated responsible adult in the original container. A written permission form is also required which is available at DCS.

Please reach out to me at pmurphy@conval.edu if you have any questions.

If you are interested in ordering some DCS swag for your student(s), please use this link. We will be providing new students with a DCS T-in the near future. https://dublinravens.deco-apparel.com/
