Principal's Message
Cooler Weather Has Arrived!
As the weather continues to cool, this is a friendly reminder from the Westwood staff to ensure that you send your student(s) with what they may need for outdoor activities at times such as recess, lunch, and/or PE.
We highly encourage our students to come with a warm coat or jacket, beanies, and even gloves. For rainy days, a waterproof jacket and an umbrella or hat or great ideas too.
As always, don't forget to have your student(s) put their name or initials on their winter weather gear so that it can be returned to them if it gets lost or misplaced.
*REMINDER: Don't forget to scroll down to the section titled "News from the Lodi Unified School District" for information from Lodi USD that may be helpful for you.

Picking Up and Dropping Off Students
As a safety reminder, when picking up or dropping off your student, please use our drop-off loop (the staff parking lot is not for student drop-off) and pull as far forward as possible when in line with your vehicle. This supports a smooth drop-off and pick-up process.
๐ Parents should stay in their vehicles and pull up to the student drop-off zone during this time. Please do not leave a vehicle unattended in the drop-off loop at any time. If you need help, wave down a staff member and we will be happy to assist you. Thank you for doing your part to keep our students safe.
Additionally, please be sure that your students have the proper car seats, booster seats, or seatbelts as required by California State Law. Let us know if you need help or resources to keep your student safe. ๐บโ

Nutrition Services in 2025-2026
Nutrition Services will continue to use a paperless menu system for the 2025โ26 school year. Families can view daily menus by creating a LINQ Connect account or visiting our website at lusdnutrition.org.
