CHS Community:
Our lunchroom is cold and with construction the only way to keep heat in is to block off the area of the building that no longer has heat, which means reducing the size of our lunchroom earlier than anticipated.
We will be opening up campus on MONDAY 1/27 for lunch. There will be two longer lunch times to help accommodate students to get to and from where they are going safely.
Lunches will be divided up by class:
Early lunch: 11:22-12:02 (3rd hour ends at 11:22)
Class 12:02-12:47
or
Class: 11:28-12:13
Late Lunch: 12:13-12:53 (5th hour starts at 12:53)
We will still have 200 seats in the lunch room for each lunch. All music ensembles have offered students to eat lunch in their rooms if needed as long as food and trays get cleaned up.
All students will be allowed open campus for lunch due to space limitations.
However:
Students failing two or more classes will be required to stay over lunch with a study table until grades improve
Students who have three or more tardies to their class after open campus will no longer have the privilege to leave
Repeated offenders will receive detentions and potential loss of privileges like prom
Other Good to know Reminders/ Information:
Parent Portal: Having this on your device to check grades and attendance regularly, talking to your kids to get anything missing turned in and assessments made up within two days if they miss it will greatly help with holding your child accountable for doing their job and showing up!
