Good Morning,
We are looking forward to seeing many families on Wednesday evening 9/30 at 6:30 for our Positive Solutions for families. Our presenters are Mrs. Costa, School Adjustment Counselor and Mrs. Magner, Special Education teacher. They will discuss ways to help children recognize and manage their emotions, develop coping skills, and reduce challenging behaviors through consistent routines, clear expectations, and supportive strategies. This night is for parents/caregivers only. Please enter through door #7 WECC's front door.
Starting the Day on Time
Arriving at school on time helps your child begin the day feeling comfortable, confident, and ready to learn! The morning routine is an important part of the PreK day, and arriving on time allows children to settle in, connect with their teachers and classmates, and participate in the activities planned for the start of the day. We kindly ask families to make every effort to arrive on time each day. Thank you for helping us give your child a smooth and positive start to their school day!
SAFETY:
As a friendly reminder, we ask that families please keep children from playing or congregating at the top of the front steps or in the front of the Adams building before or after school. The front of the Adams building is a place of business where WPS staff are working, making phone calls, and meeting with families. When children play on the steps, the noise can be disruptive, and the steps are not an appropriate or safe area for play.
We appreciate your help in keeping the front entrance a calm, safe, and respectful space for everyone. Thank you for your continued cooperation and support!
