Dear Families,
We had another great week at Wessagusset! Students and staff are working hard to prepare for Open House - we are all excited to share our students’ work, classrooms, and school with you! The Wessagusset Parent Council will be raffling off lots of fun, creative gift baskets and SEPAC will be here to share information and resources with you. We hope to see you all on Wednesday evening!
Picture Day is coming! School pictures will be taken on Friday, September 29th. To pre-order, visit mylifetouch.com and enter our Picture Day ID: EVTBZPNQ9
Grade 5 Band:. Here is a website where you can find all the information as well. We are looking forward to starting another successful year of 5th grade band!
Mrs. Marobella will be selling Smencils and Spirit Sticks in the library for $1 each. Students may purchase these items during their library time, and the money will go towards new books for the library.
If you’re like me and looking for ways for your children to tell you more about their school day (yes, I just get “OK”, too!) you might want to check out this great list of questions to change up your conversations and (hopefully) get a little more information about their days at school! Going Beyond How Was Your Day

The Boosterthon Fun Run is coming! A message from Caitlin McInnes, Boosterthon Coordinator: It is that time of year again... BOOSTER PLANNING! For those new to Wess our Booster Costume Run on 10/31 is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It utilizes an online platform to get donations/sponsors for your child to participate in a fun running event. We have minimal support from the company which allows us to keep more of the money we raised (over 80% stays with us!). However, we need people to help run social media, send emails, make copies, count out and deliver classroom materials, hang posters, update the pledge-o-meter, etc. If you are interested in volunteering please complete the form below. Please know, in order to volunteer on fun run day we are asking that you help with the whole event leading up to run day. https://forms.gle/rwwKKazH4bt2Wf7o6
Be sure to scroll down to the "Parent Council Corner" for lots of important information!
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Sincerely,
Lindsey Frat
