Hello Wise Owl Families,

This year, as part of my professional growth as well as working towards creating the best learning experience possible for all UES students, your feedback is crucial. As I finish out my first year leading UES, this survey is to collect end of year data that will help as I set goals for myself and UES for the upcoming school year. I will digest the results and reflect on ways to make UES an even better learning environment for all. If you feel you don't have enough information to answer any of the questions, please don't hesitate to select "I don't know", that is good data for me as well.

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey. Thanks for helping us grow!

Warmly,

Katie Barea - UES Principal

Kindness Club at UES is a group that meets once a month on Wednesdays after school from 3-4pm in the school library. Our mission is to spread kindness throughout our school community, and beyond. We start each meeting with a light snack, and discussion, and spend the rest of our meeting time engaged in a kindness project. Students sign up for each individual meeting that they are able to attend.

Any student in 2nd-4th grade is welcome to attend. The final meeting is this Wednesday, May 24th. Sign Your Wise Owl Up Here!

This year's UES Family Fitness Night was Wildly Successful! Congratulations to MJ and Mr. Williams, our amazing PE teachers, for putting on such a fun event for our school community. We didn't have a formal way of counting how many individuals attended but we estimated between 150-200 members of our school community. There was an awesome obstacle course, healthy snacks, kickboxing, and yoga. It was great to see so many community members at this event and we are already looking forward to next year.

Summer is just around the corner and MRPS is once again hosting a variety of summer camps for incoming 1st - 12th graders! Visit https://www.mrpsvt.org/summer-2023 for all the details about this year's ultimate frisbee, basketball, strength and conditioning, and lacrosse camps!

The MRPS Board of School Directors is meeting Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Find the meeting agenda, minutes from past meetings, information about the work of the various School Board Committees, and more by visiting www.mrpsvt.org/school-board
