Conferences always make for a busy week around the school. My hope for our students and their families is that these conversations will provide a clearer picture of what your child needs to be successful for the remaining three quarters of the school year. The conversation surrounding how we can best serve our students is never over, however. So, as the year ebbs and flows, know that we are making adjustments and addressing concerns as they arise. Thank you all for your partnership in providing the best possible education for our students.
Looking at the forecast for Saturday, there appears to be a chance of rain during Trunk or Treat. As of right now, the plan is to continue the event as scheduled. If rain presents itself on Saturday afternoon, we will reschedule for Friday, October 31st, immediately following the end of the school day. An announcement will be made letting everyone know of a change if needed.
We are getting ready for our first ever SHS parent mixer. We hope you are excited to come, have some fun, ask questions, and engage in the recruitment process for the school. We highly encourage you to invite any family that you feel would benefit from sending their child to our school. Even if a family is a few years out from needing to make that schooling decision, it is never too early for us to be engaging with potential families. Also, I encourage you to fill out the Google Form linked HERE to give some input on potential topics for the evening.
