Greetings, LBA Families!


My name is Wade Helleson. I am delighted to serve as the principal at Laura B. Anderson. We are getting excited to welcome our young scholars back to school soon. Please read through the information below carefully as we have important information about the start of the 2024-25 school year.

Event Information

OPEN HOUSE (2 Options)

In order to better meet the needs of families, we have decided to offer two time-slots for Open House this year. Tuesday, August 20 from 8:00-10:00am or 4:00-6:00pm are the times available for you to come and meet your child(ren)'s teacher(s). We will have a few Spanish interpreters available at those times as well. Please contact the school office if you have questions.

August 4: Back to School Event--Help completing online registration, lunch applications, backpack registration. AXTELL PARK SCHOOL GYM, 201 N. West Ave. 1:00-6:00pm

August 20: Open House from 8:00-10:00am and 4:00-6:00pm

August 22: First Day for Students (school starts at 8:00)

August 30 & September 2: NO SCHOOL-Labor Day Weekend

September 17: Picture Day
