WW March 12
Enjoy Your Spring Break- classes resume Monday, March 23
Chap Family,
We just wanted to take a moment to say how incredibly humbled and appreciative we are for the overwhelming support shown for our Applebee’s fundraiser. Each year we think there is no way we could possibly top the level of support from the year before, and yet somehow this community proves us wrong again and again.
The number of staff members, families, students, and community members who came out to support the event was truly amazing. We also had more peer interns volunteer to help than ever before, and they did an incredible job jumping in wherever they were needed. Their enthusiasm, kindness, and willingness to serve others was inspiring to see.
What continues to stand out the most each year is the incredible sense of community that is present throughout the entire event. Staff members volunteering their time, students proudly working alongside peers, families showing up to support the program, and colleagues spreading the word... it all reminded us why Chaparral is such a special place to work. The Chap family and community continue to show up for our students in ways that go far beyond the classroom.
While we do not have the final total yet, Applebee’s shared that they served over 100 plates during the fundraiser today, which is incredible.
Thank you again to everyone who came, volunteered, donated, or simply helped spread the word. Your support means so much to our students and programs, and we truly could not do it without this amazing community.
With sincere gratitude,
Everyone in the SSN department :)
