Counseling Corner
Hello from your School Counselors!
We are excited to be starting a new school year and look forward to supporting the students and families here at Log! We have been visiting classrooms the last few weeks to welcome students back to school and explain the support we can provide, such as social/emotional support, small group counseling, and academic support. We have two School Counselors in the building, one that works with the A Team and one that works with the B Team. If there is a team change students will primarily work with their new counselor, but we are always working together and available to all students. The Counseling Office is located in the center hallway on the second floor across from the library.

Title I and Home and School Update
Schoolwide Plan, PFE and Parent Family Compact Discussions this week at HSA Meeting
Title: Title IA Schoolwide School Information
Information regarding Log College's program as well as its usage of Title I funds will be discussed on September 8 at LCMS's initial Home and School Meeting.
Log College Middle School (LCMS) receives Federal Title I funds, which are used to finance supplemental educational services in reading/language arts and math to assist students in meeting state achievement standards. Throughout the school year, we will be providing you with information related to these Schoolwide services. Along with the school and district based events, we also have resources on standards, assessments, and CSD programming on our district website: Teaching & Learning.
As an outcome of Log College Middle School's Title I Schoolwide status, LCMS parents are invited to review, evaluate, and/or provide feedback for potential revisions to any number of the following:
Completed Title I Application*
Title I Parent Right to Know Letter**
Title I Parent Compact & Family Engagement Policy**
Title I Parent & Family Engagement Funds and Activities**
District Policy 801: District Public Records [Right to Know] Policy 801***
District Policy 917: District Parental/Family Engagement Policy***
District Policy 918: District Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy and the accompanying Administrative Regulations (ARs)***
*Review of the Completed Title I applications will be conducted at the May HSA meeting and if necessary during the Steering Committee meeting in June.
**Please visit your student's building Title I webpage, found linked to the Distirct page, for access to the Building level forms for review.
***To access our District Title I-related policies, please visit the Board Policies section of our website and click on the BoardDocs Icon to take you to the Centennial's public BoardDocs section of the website.
Families will have an opportunity to provide feedback through district and school in-person events, as well as through our digital feedback form Title IA Feedback Form, which is also available on each Title I webpage, found linked to the Distirct page.
