LIBRARY
All library books are due by Monday, May 11. Please make every effort to get all books returned by then. If a book is lost or damaged, it will need to be paid for to get it off your child’s account. This enables us to purchase a book to replace the lost one. The amount is on the overdue notice.

Hey Parents & Friends!
Every Wednesday we run on the track for our Healthy Heart program. So far we have logged over 28,000 laps this year! Every 4 laps equals 1 mile and here is how many miles each grade has run this school year:
4th Grade - 1,430 Miles
3rd Grade - 1,314 Miles
2nd Grade - 1,451 Miles
1st Grade - 1,177 Miles
Kinder - 1,351 Miles
Pre K - 342 Miles
TOTAL - 7,064 Miles
For context, that's the equivalent of running from Houston to New York City, then to Los Angeles and then back to Houston!
Or
That’s also the equivalent of running from Houston to the Panama Canal and back!
Please encourage your student(s) to keep running this summer to keep up our endurance.
