Dear DMS Families,

This week, students participated in a Digital Citizenship assembly with Mr. Richard Guerry. This opportunity was available based on a grant that the district was able to acquire. Mr. Guerry talked to students about the importance of online safety. As you are aware, online presence is becoming more of a focus for our children, and we want to be sure to educate them on the challenges that could arise as a result of having overwhelming access to technology at such a young age. We also ask that you discuss student online presence with them at home, as well as how to navigate the challenges of the digital world. It is important that we work together to support students in this area.

Moving into next week, we have more events planned, including the PTO sponsored Color Run, and grade level Career Days. If students do not want to participate in the Color Run, please know that they do not have to participate. They can just let us know on the day of the event that they want to watch the Color run instead. Thank you to those of you who have been able to support the Dighton PTO's efforts through acquiring donations. In addition, we have our band and choir concert on Monday at 6:00 p.m. in the DRRHS gymnasium. We hope to see you all there.

Below you will find information on the PTO Color Run and Donut Day, as well as DRRHS football sign- ups, DMS choir/band sign- ups, Unified Arts 2023-2024 Students of the Month, and bus evacuations. In addition there is continued information regarding DRRHS CTE Summer Camp, and soccer, as well as an invitation to the DMS Gym Dedication on June 1st. Please also find information on the Spring Scholastic Book Fair.

Have a great week!

PTO Color Run- Water/Clothing/More Prizes

Hey families! Our Fun Run/Color Run is fast approaching and because students have been doing so good, the Dighton PTO has decided to give back just a bit more! Check out the flyer below to see what your student can earn for their hard work! Thank you all for your generous donations! We are well to our goal but still need some more help! Keep on sharing that Booster link and getting those donations! No donation is too small!

Please also be sure to have students bring a bottle of water with them for the color run. The weather is looking great, but it will be hot, and we want students to stay hydrated. In addition, students should wear clothing that is good for the run, as well as be able to wear their color run t- shirt over it for the hour that they are outside.
