"DID YOU KNOW?"
EVERY SCHOOL DAY COUNTS. “Did you know?" We have exactly 30 school days left before summer break! The final quarter of the year is a critical time for students to solidify their skills and feel confidence in their academic and social-emotional learning. Please make sure your child comes to school every day they are healthy. Consistent attendance is important for students in all grades but particularly for our 3rd-5th graders who will be taking the state tests to “show what they know” in reading, writing, math, and science. Last year, we cross-checked our state test data with attendance and 50% of students who didn’t reach grade-level benchmarks had low attendance. Remember EVERY SCHOOL DAY COUNTS, especially during a disrupted year!

Lewis Field Crew
Over Spring Break, folks may have noticed some activity on the Lewis field. Thanks to Michael Bendixen, Brian Koffler, Benny Nelson and Tye Ortega the field was aerated and seeded with many bags of trash picked up along the way. The Lewis field and playground are such an important part of our community, what a gift to have parents invested in keeping our field in better repair. Interested in joining the field crew?
