Presentation Community,

We’re officially one week away from Christmas Break, and you can feel the excitement and joy growing throughout the building—especially after last night’s wonderful Christmas concert. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a special evening for our students.

As we continue into this third week of Advent, we invite all families to join us for our All-School Mass this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. We’d love to come together in prayer and community as we prepare our hearts for Christmas. It’s shaping up to be a very cold weekend, so please stay warm!

God Bless,

Matt

Our supply of copy paper is starting to run low. If you are able to donate any to school, we would appreciate it! Thank you!

Registration for the Swiminators Swim Team is now OPEN! This is open to students in grades Kindergarten - 8th grade! It is NOT swimming lessons, children do need to know how to swim prior to joining the team and be comfortable in the water without a life vest or floatation device. Registration forms are attached below. Please note the registration due date is January 10th.

Mark your calendars!

• Thursday, December 18 is the next day in the Out of Uniform Pass Booklet. If you purchased one of these at the beginning of the year, your kiddo can come out of uniform that day.
• Friday, December 19 is our last day before Christmas break AND the last Friday of the month that we will be in session. Students may come to school that day EITHER wearing red, green, or Christmas sweaters OR in Presentation Spirit Wear.

We have had quite a few students coming each day without proper outdoor attire. Remember that we go outside for recess every day unless it is below zero. Please make sure to send your child to school with proper attire to stay warm outside - coat, hat, gloves/mittens, boots, and snow pants (if they want to play in the snow). It is important for their safety that they are properly clothed for the weather!

In addition, help your kiddo remember to put their regular shoes in their bag if they wear their boots to school so they have something to change into and don't have to spend the whole day in boots!

Our students have been enjoying the snow and preparing for Christmas! Even our babies got to go outside and explore the snow on one of the warmer days this past week.

Everyone did such an amazing job at the Christmas concert on Thursday. Our preschoolers were so happy to be part of the program, it really makes them feel like they are big kids! Plus, who can pass up a chance to dress up in your Christmas best?? This week we also had a chance to meet with Fr. Peter in the church to learn more about the true meaning of Advent and Christmas.

Next week we look forward to celebrating Jesus' birthday a little early with our birthday parties for Jesus next Thursday & Friday! Discovery Center students are welcome to wear pajamas on these days. Did you know Jesus loves a pajama party??

Upcoming Events/Reminders:

December 18 & 19: Birthday Parties for Jesus! Infants, Toddlers, Discovery, & Kinderstart students may wear pajamas to school these days.

December 22, 23: Christmas break child care days (RSVP required)

December 24-26: Closed

December 29-31: Christmas break child care days (RSVP required)

January 1, 2, 5: Closed

We will see you ALL this Sunday, December 14th at 9am for our December All-School Mass. We invite ALL FAMILIES to attend and ask that students come dressed in their uniforms. It would be great to have a BIG showing of school families there! Our parishioners do SO MUCH to support our school and joining them at Mass is just one small way we can show up and show our appreciation for all the ways they ensure our school continues to thrive.

We'll see you ALL there!

On Sunday, January 4th, the Vikings will be taking on the Packers, and we want to watch it with all of you on the big screen in the school gym! The time of the game has not yet been announced, but please mark your calendar and plan to come watch the game, bring a dish to share, and participate in some (good-natured) rivalry between our Vikings and Packers fans. We're looking forward to a really fun day! More details will be shared once the game time is set.

Saddle up!

We're rounding up all Presentation of Mary School families, alumni, and patrons to celebrate the 2026 Panther Pride Benefit! Join us on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Presentation of Mary School for dinner, games, and a live and silent auction all in support of our wonderful school!

Stay tuned for details on how to purchase tickets and register!

Our 4pm Christmas Eve Mass is designed for children and families to come together in prayer, praise, song, and exuberant anticipation. Therefore, everyone planning to attend this Mass is invited to arrive at 3:30 to sing Christmas Carols together before mass begins!

Additionally, any who are looking to get involved in this Mass, particularly families and children, are welcome to come at 3pm and join the choir that will be leading the carols and the sung Mass responses.

Make it a family tradition! Christmas liturgies always feel most special if we are personally involved in them, and they’re all the more special when whole families do something together like this!
