MTPS Families,

We are truly excited to welcome our students and families back to MTPS on Tuesday, September 1st, as we begin the 2026–2027 school year. After a summer filled with preparation and anticipation, our schools are ready to come alive once again with the energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm of our students.

Our district has been preparing thoughtfully and purposefully for the year ahead. Guided by our shared theme, “Elevate Every Learner,” our professional learning, planning, and readiness efforts have focused on strengthening our practice, embracing continuous growth, and creating meaningful opportunities for our students to thrive.

We are steadfastly committed to unleashing limitless potential by cultivating learning environments grounded in high standards, genuine care, and unwavering support. We believe that when students are challenged to excel, encouraged to take risks, and surrounded by adults who believe in them, they are empowered to discover their strengths, build confidence, and achieve more than they may have imagined.

Our commitment extends beyond academic achievement. We want every student to feel known, valued, and connected; to know that their voice matters; and to understand that they have the ability to grow and make a difference. Together, we will foster a culture where excellence is expected, relationships matter, and perseverance and growth are celebrated.

We are grateful for the partnership of our families and look forward to working together throughout the year to support our students, recognize their accomplishments, and help them navigate the challenges that are an important part of learning and growing.

Most of all, we are excited to see our hallways and classrooms filled with students once again. We look forward to a year of learning, progress, connection, and possibility as we “Elevate Every Learner” and work together to unleash limitless potential.
