Thank You, Woodside Families!
Thank you to all of our families who took the time to meet with teachers during parent-teacher conferences this week! We appreciate you making time in your busy schedules to connect with us and talk about your child's learning and growth. When families and teachers work together, students feel supported and encouraged to do their best. These conversations help us celebrate successes, talk through challenges, and make a plan for continued growth. We are grateful to have you as partners in your child's education. Thank you for being part of our Woodside Panther family!
Trunk or Treat at Woodside!
Mark your calendars! Woodside's Trunk or Treat is coming up on Thursday, October 29, from 5:30β6:30 p.m. We are looking forward to a fun evening with our Woodside families!
We are still looking for families who would like to host a trunk and help make this event special for our students. You can bring your own candy or have the PTO provide it for you. We would love to have you join the fun! Please sign up using the Trunk or Treat registration link shared by the school.
Learning at Home: Small Moments Make a Big Difference!
You don't need to plan a big activity to support your child's learning at home. Reading together for just 15 minutes each day can help build vocabulary, strengthen reading skills, and grow a love of books.
Try asking your child questions like:
What was your favorite part of the story?
Why do you think the character did that?
What do you think might happen next?
You can also let your child read to you, tell you about the pictures, or share a story they already know. These simple moments help build confidence and make learning fun!
October is a wonderful time to see our students growing in confidence, building friendships, and becoming more comfortable with their classroom routines. We are proud of the hard work our Panthers are putting in each day!
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We love being part of your child's learning journey and are grateful to have such wonderful families as part of our Woodside community. I hope to see many of you at Trunk or Treat!

Our schoolβs supply of small bottoms (pants/shorts) and NEW, unopened underwear in sizes 5β9 is currently completely empty. These items are so important for students who may have a bathroom accident or need a change of clothes during the school day.
If you have any new or gently usable bottoms or new, unopened underwear (sizes 5β9) that youβd be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful! Have pants your kids have outgrown? We will gladly take it!
Families with students in Kindergartenβ3rd grade: We also encourage you to pack an extra outfit (or two!) in your childβs backpack, just in case they need a change of clothes during the school day.
