Finalizadas las pruebas WIDA
Ya han concluido nuestras pruebas WIDA para los alumnos que están aprendiendo inglés (ELL). Gracias a todas las familias por ayudar a sus hijo/as a venir a la escuela bien descansados durante el periodo de exámenes. Su apoyo para garantizar que los alumnos durmieran bien por la noche les ayudó de verdad a dar lo mejor de sí mismos. ¡Agradecemos su colaboración!
Celebración del Día de San Patricio – MARTES, 17 de marzo 🍀
Los alumnos podrán celebrar el Día de San Patricio el martes 17 de marzo sin llevar el uniforme. Se anima a los alumnos a que vistan de verde o con ropa festiva del Día de San Patricio, siempre respetando las normas de la escuela en cuanto a vestimenta adecuada.
No habrá servicio de autobús – VIERNES, 20 de marzo 🚌
Tengan en cuenta que no habrá servicio de autobús el viernes 20 de marzo. Todos los alumnos deberán organizar su propio transporte para ir y volver de la escuela ese día. A los alumnos que no dispongan de transporte se les marcará una ausencia injustificada, por lo que les rogamos lo planifiquen adecuadamente.
Jornada de trabajo del profesorado – 27 de marzo
No habrá clases el viernes 27 de marzo debido a una jornada de trabajo del profesorado.
Vacaciones de primavera 🌷
Nuestras vacaciones de primavera tendrán lugar la semana del 30 de marzo. ¡Esperamos que las familias disfruten juntas de unas vacaciones relajantes y revitalizantes! ¡Les deseamos una feliz Pascua! Además, no habrá clases el 6 y el 7 de abril, ya que los alumnos regresan de las vacaciones.

Los boletines de notas se enviarán a casa el viernes 10 de abril. Por favor, revíselos con su hijo y póngase en contacto con los profesores si tiene alguna pregunta.

WIDA Testing Completed
Our WIDA testing for English Language Learner (ELL) students has now been completed. Thank you to all families for helping your children come to school well rested during the testing period. Your support in making sure students got a good night’s sleep truly helped them do their best. We appreciate your partnership!
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration – TUESDAY, March 17 🍀
Students may celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday, March 17 by coming out of uniform. Students are encouraged to wear green or festive St. Patrick’s Day clothing while still following our school guidelines for appropriate attire.
No Busing – FRIDAY March 20 🚌
Please note that there will be no bus service on Friday, March 20. All students must arrange their own transportation to and from school that day. Students who do not have transportation will be marked with an unexcused absence, so please plan accordingly.
Teacher Work Day – March 27
There will be no school on Friday, March 27 due to a Teacher Work Day.
Spring Break 🌷
Our Spring Break will take place the week of March 30. We hope families enjoy a restful and refreshing break together! We hope you have a blessed Easter!
Additionally, there will be no school on April 6 and April 7 as students return from break.
Report Cards
Report cards will be sent home on Friday, April 10. Please review them with your child and reach out to teachers with any questions.

English Debate Team Shines - El Equipo de Debate de Inglés Brilla
Our English Debate Team continues to make us proud! At their third tournament of the year, our students brought home the medals once again. 🏅
This time, we had seven teams competing, and many of our students earned individual speaker awards as well as team victories. Their success reflects the incredible dedication, preparation, and teamwork they have shown throughout the season.
Debate challenges our students to think critically, speak confidently, and work collaboratively—skills that will serve them far beyond the competition stage. We are so proud of how they represented Risen Christ with respect and determination.
A huge congratulations to all of our debaters and a heartfelt thank-you to the coaches and supporters who make these opportunities possible. Way to go!✨

¡Nuestro equipo de debate en inglés continúa llenándonos de orgullo! En su tercer torneo del año, nuestros estudiantes nuevamente trajeron medallas a casa. 🏅
Esta vez participaron siete equipos, y muchos de nuestros estudiantes obtuvieron premios individuales como oradores y también victorias en equipo. Sus logros reflejan la dedicación, preparación y trabajo en equipo que han demostrado durante toda la temporada.
El debate ayuda a nuestros estudiantes a pensar críticamente, hablar con confianza y colaborar con otros, habilidades que les servirán mucho más allá de la competencia. Estamos muy orgullosos de cómo representaron a nuestra escuela con respeto, inteligencia y determinación.
