Greetings,
The past weeks have included reinforcing the importance of craftsmanship, presentation, and reflection. We are including more student critiques.
Kindergarten students are finishing up their color wheel creations which entail making scenes out of a color wheel.
First grade are putting together their flavorful food combinations in which they are choosing items that don't go together to present them in a tastful presentation.
Second grade is working on their architectural projects to give us their idea of a crazy building that serves a specific community.
Third grade finished their hybrid animal presentations today which you will find an examples of attached to the newsletter.
Fourth grade students are still working on their Notan squares. And exercise in understanding positive and negative space along with how to use reflective symmetry and balance.
Fifth grade is settling down to create some rather intricate entanglements which require attention to detail and a slow mindful approach to their work.
Thank you,
Mr. Dorsey

Students must figure out how to get the hoop to the front of the line without detaching hands. Please remind your scholars that they have to follow instructions in order to be most successful in PE. Thank you!
