Craddock's Weekly Update

Hello Craddock Families!

Today is my first official day back after a few weeks of summer fun and I am SO EXCITED to be sending out our first newsletter of the 26-27 school year! I hope this communication finds you and your family happy, healthy and surrounded by lots of new memories made over the last few months! Please know there wasn't much to update you on in June, so this is the first communication I have sent since the end of the school year!

I am going to keep this message short and allow you to delve into all that is within the newsletter. I did my best to include everything you might need between now and when school begins, but if there is anything you can't find in here, please don't hesitate to reach out to me using any of the communication modes below. I am back full time now and fully connected to email during the work day.

Enjoy these last few weeks! My next communication will come out in preparation for the week of August 3rd and I will include a welcome back message to all my adorable 1st and 2nd graders!

Take care and I can't wait to welcome you all back officially in just a few short weeks! Our custodial staff has been working tirelessly to get Craddock ready for a brand new, wonderful school year!

We are so excited to invite all of our Craddock students and their families to our annual back-to-school Meet and Greet! We will hold this on Thursday, August 13th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Craddock!

To help reduce traffic within the building and issues with parking, we encourage all families whose last names end with the letters A-L to attend during 3:00-4:00 and those whose last names end with M-Z attend during 4:00-5:00. Thank you!

Our Meet and Greet is an awesome opportunity for students to see where their classrooms are, meet their teacher, drop off supplies, catch up with friends and visit one of our many tables to gather information on Scouts, PTO, etc. We will also have a school bus available for students to practice getting on and off of, as well as the Kona Ice Truck! Please know Kona will be done serving guests promptly at 5:00, so if you want to get some, you must be getting served by 5:00, not just in line.

It's a lot of fun and a great way to continue to get ready for the start of another fantastic school year! Please plan to drop in and see us on August 13th! The Craddock staff is so excited to welcome everyone back!

If your family is new to Aurora for the 26-27 school year and you have a child attending Craddock, you are invited to a special orientation event on Wednesday, 8/12 at 6:30 p.m. in Craddock's cafeteria. This is an opportunity to learn valuable information about Craddock and how we operate to ensure you feel comfortable and know all you need to support your child best! We are so excited to see you and your family! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions at all!

If your child attended Miller in Kindergarten, you do not need to attend. 🙂

All students schedules are currently available through the MyRide K-12 App. How to access the App is located on the ACSD website under Departments/Transportation on the right side of the webpage. I have included the link below.

If any student is needing to be picked up or dropped off other than their home location, they MUST fill out an alternate bus stop form before we can transport and return to us by email, fax or dropping off at the office. That form is located in the same area as listed below on the webpage and is also included below.
