Week of 4/20/25
Principal's Greeting
Dear Churchill Families,
What an incredible week we've had! We celebrated Arab American History Month with meaningful daily announcements and kept the momentum going with exciting updates on our PTA Glow Run Fundraiser. Thanks to your amazing support, we've already raised over $20,000 — and fundraising continues until Thursday, April 24th!
The competition is still on! The grade-level homerooms with the highest totals will win a special prize, so let’s keep the energy up. Thursday’s Glow Run was a huge hit. Way to go, Bulldogs!
A huge shoutout to our dedicated PTA, generous donors, supportive parents, and of course, our enthusiastic students and teachers. This fundraiser was a success because of you!
We hope to see you at our Family Game Night this Wednesday from 5:30–7:00 PM. Also we are having our 1st Churchill Talent Show, 5/28/25. Don’t forget to check out the flyers below for more details.
Have an amazing week ahead!
Warmly,
Mrs. Peacock

5th Grade Parent Letter
Dear Fifth Grade Families,
We are thrilled to announce an exciting event for our fifth graders as the school year draws to a close! On Tuesday June 3rd, we will be hosting an end-of-year celebration for our fifth graders to celebrate the achievements and growth of our students throughout their time at Churchill School.
To ensure that all students have the opportunity to attend and enjoy this special occasion, invitations will be based on student referral data. Students will earn points through positive referrals, demonstrating their commitment to showing Bulldog Best Behavior and contributing positively to our school community. Points will be deducted for office and classroom referrals that reflect behaviors that do not align with our school’s expectations. All students will start Monday, March 24th with 100 points. Positive referrals will earn students an additional 25 points while referrals that are earned due to physical altercation will deduct 30 points. Additionally, all other office (major) referrals will deduct 25 points and classroom (minor) referrals will deduct 10 points. To earn an invitation to the dance, students will need a total of 75 points.
Throughout the coming weeks, classroom teachers will maintain open communication with families regarding student’s behavior and progress toward earning their invitation to the dance. We encourage you to partner with us in motivating your child to exhibit their Bulldog Best Behavior in and out of the classroom. Together, we can create a supportive environment where every student feels empowered to succeed. We understand the importance of celebrating milestones and creating lasting memories for our students, and we are committed to ensuring that the end-of-the- year celebration is a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive event for all fifth graders.
Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Let’s make this end-of-school dance a memorable experience for our fifth graders!
