Mayer Middle School: Constitution activities
We have been discussing the Constitution and Bill of Rights. The classes discussed why these were important to the people creating a new country. What happened with England that they felt the need to leave and fight for a new country? Students are creating The Bill of Rights slide presentations to show their understanding of each of the Rights of Americans. Students are learning about the importance of the Constitution and the rules that govern the United States, so when we discuss ancient civilizations they will have a better understanding of where some of these rights and rules originated.
Fairview High School: Constitution Day
Mrs. Atwood’s classes celebrated Constitution Day with their annual Constitution game. In the style of Family Feud, classes are separated into teams and compete to answer questions about the US Constitution. Categories include Founders & Facts, the Executive Branch, The Legislative Branch, the Judicial Branch, and True or False.
