DVUSD VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

DVUSD Volunteer Information

In compliance with DVUSD policy and to maintain the highest standards of safety for our students and staff, all volunteers must meet the requirements set by DVUSD.

This year DVUSD has switched to a more convenient version of this process. In the past you had to attend an in-person training event at a dvusd school which was a 45min class. With this new process, you can complete the training at your convenience, as long as it is done prior to your volunteer event, without having to wait for a training date. Everything is now done online through the district website. With this switch, they are also implementing a new policy that all volunteers, returning or new, MUST complete this process annually regardless of if you have attended training in the past. This helps ensure all information on our volunteers is up to date. This entire process should take no more than 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

If you are a new volunteer there is a 9 min video to watch and registration forms. Once this part is done, the annual testimony form must be completed.

If you are a returning volunteer there is a 4 min video to watch and registration forms. Once this part is done, the annual testimony form must be completed.

Some phones may not display the video links correctly, if this happens we recommend you try on a desktop computer. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our Volunteer Coordinator Cassidy.Lundgren@dvusd.org

DVUSD VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

To maintain the highest ethical standards, it is essential that all testimony and disclosure sections of the Volunteer Registration Form are completed truthfully and accurately. In certain cases, additional approvals may be required before being cleared to volunteer.

❖ Annual Registration and Emergency Information must be completed and verified by Campus Volunteer Coordinator to remain an active Volunteer
