Los Angeles Unified provides students with core academic support, opportunities to enhance their mastery of academic subjects for college readiness, and enrichment courses designed to engage and motivate students in learning through self-selected courses of interest. Our robust summer school programs will not only give students the opportunity to have structured social interactions, but access to expanded paid internship opportunities as they continue to imagine the possibilities and prepare to be Ready for the World.
The LAUSD Food Service Division (FSD) operates an extensive "Summer Community Base" meal program, serving roughly 240,000 meals daily offering breakfast and lunch to children who are 18 years of age and under in our local communities. Additionally, we support Beyond the Bell Division enrichment, and recreation programs with supper meals. For additional information, click Free Breakfast and Lunch.
Student registration will open April 9, 2026. More details to follow.

GETTING TO SCHOOL SAFELY!
As we kick off the new school year, I want to take a moment to encourage everyone to stay mindful of traffic safety whether walking, biking, or driving to campus. Please take a moment to review the attached August Traffic Safety Tips, which offer helpful reminders to ensure everyone gets to and from school safely.
In particular, I urge extra caution when traveling through the area near {Insert Intersection Cross Streets}. This intersection tends to be especially busy during drop-off and pick-up times, so letβs stay alert and considerate of one another.
Wishing you all a safe and successful start to the school year!

Attention all 6th grade families!
All students entering 7th grade in August MUST meet all vaccination requirements by the first day of school. Families are reminded of the importance of planning now to see their own physician and make appointments for vaccinations. Please see flyers below for medical resources.
