Happy Sunday, Viking Families! πŸ’™πŸ’›

It is hard to believe that we are already approaching the end of our first quarter! As we head into our final week before Fall Break, I want to thank our families for your continued support, partnership, and involvement at Victor Elementary.

🌟 School Site Council – Thank You!
A heartfelt thank you to our School Site Council members who met with me this past week to discuss important topics that support our students and school community, including our School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), School Safety Plan, Parent Rights, and more. I truly appreciate their time, input, and commitment to helping Victor Elementary continue to grow and be successful. Your partnership makes a difference! πŸ’™πŸ’›

🌳 Lunch on the Lawn – What a Success!
Our 1st Annual Lunch on the Lawn was a wonderful success! We welcomed over 100 parents and family members to campus to enjoy lunch with their Vikings. Seeing so many families together on our campus was truly special. Thank you for making our first event so memorable!

πŸ“š Parent-Teacher Conferences This Week
Parent-Teacher Conferences are happening this week! This is an important opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher, celebrate their progress, and discuss goals for continued growth. If you have not yet scheduled your conference, please reach out to your child’s teacher.

🌎 ELAC Parent Meeting – Thursday, September 24
We invite parents and guardians of students who speak or are learning another language in addition to English to join us for our first English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) Parent Meeting on Thursday, September 24 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 1. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the programs and services available to support our English Learners and to share your voice and ideas. A Google Meet link will also be available for families who are unable to attend in person. We hope you can join us! πŸ’™πŸ’›

❀️ American Heart Association – Coming in October!
We are excited to welcome the American Heart Association to Victor Elementary from October 12–30, 2026! During this time, our Vikings will have an opportunity to learn about the importance of heart health, healthy habits, and staying active. Initial information was sent out on Friday and more information will be shared with families as we get closer to October. We are looking forward to this fun and educational opportunity for our students! ❀️

⏰ Attendance Matters
As we approach Fall Break, please remember that every school day matters. We want our Vikings here, on time, and ready to learn each day. Let’s finish our first quarter strong!

πŸ‚ Fall Break Is Almost Here!
This is our last week of school before Fall Break! I cannot believe how quickly our first quarter has gone by. I am so proud of the learning, growth, and wonderful memories our students and staff have already created together.

Thank you for continuing to support our students, staff, and school community. Together, we make Victor a special place for our Vikings to learn and grow.

Victor School Behavior Expectations – Cafeteria

At Victor Elementary, we continue to teach and reinforce our Viking Values: Be Safe, Be Responsible, and Be Respectful in every area of our school.

This Week’s PBIS Focus: Cafeteria Expectations

❀️ Be Respectful

  • Use polite words and a kind tone with peers and adults.

  • Wait your turn in line and follow directions from cafeteria staff.

  • Use an appropriate voice levelβ€”no yelling or disruptive behavior.

πŸ’™ Be Responsible

  • Clean your area, including trays, trash, and personal belongings.

  • Eat your own food and take only what you can finish.

  • Follow cafeteria rules and procedures.

  • Raise your hand and wait for adult permission before using the restroom.

πŸ’š Be Safe

  • Walk at all timesβ€”no running or pushing.

  • Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

  • Report spills or unsafe conditions to an adult immediately.

Each week, we will highlight a different area of our campus, including the classroom, cafeteria, pathways, library, restrooms, technology areas, and playground.

Thank you for helping our Vikings Learn Strong by being safe, responsible, and respectful every day! πŸ’™πŸ’›
