β Another Great Week Ahead at North! β
Hello, North Families!
We had another wonderful week at North! Our students continue to work hard, build positive relationships, and show us each day what it means to be a North STAR! β
As we head into another great week, we want to share a few important reminders and thank our families for their continued support!
π Thank You for Attending Family/Teacher Conferences!
A huge THANK YOU to all of our families who attended our first evening of Family/Teacher Conferences!
We appreciate you taking the time to connect with our teachers, celebrate your student's successes, and discuss ways we can continue working together to support their learning and growth.
Our next Family/Teacher Conference evening will be Wednesday, October 28th, from 3:00β6:30 PM.
We hope to see even more of our North families there!
π North STARs Are Spreading Kindness!
We are excited to share that North is tallying up Acts of Kindness as we help the Lansing School District reach its incredible goal of 517,000 Acts of Kindness! β
Our North STARs are showing kindness in so many waysβhelping classmates, including others, using encouraging words, showing respect, and making positive choices throughout the day.
Every act of kindness, big or small, makes a difference!
Families, we encourage you to talk with your students about ways they can spread kindness at school, at home, and throughout our community.
Let's see how many Acts of Kindness our North STARs can contribute toward the district's goal of 517,000!
π Important Reminder β Afternoon Student Pick-Up!
Families, please remember that our school day ends at 2:35 PM.
If you pick your student up from school, please make arrangements to be here on time at 2:35 PM each day.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping our dismissal process run smoothly and safely!
β Remember Our STAR Expectations!
Let's continue demonstrating our North STAR expectations every day:
β Be Safe
β Be Tolerant
β Be Accountable
β Be Respectful
Families, please continue talking with your students about what it means to be a STAR in the classroom, hallway, cafeteria, playground, on the bus, and throughout our community.
Be a STAR wherever you are! β
