KAES Keenections

Each February KAES sends out a survey, to each parent or guardian, that allows us to better understand how we can continue growing as a school. Your opinion and your experiences matter to us. Look for the link in your email that will allow you to take a survey about KAES. Once received, the survey is only open for about a week so please fill out this survey at your earliest confidence.

This week middle school students participated in the 18th Annual Brain Games. This Jeopardy-style game is part of our middle school spirit events held through out the year. Many questions were asked. Some teams scored. But our 5th grade class gained possession of the school spirit trophy and won the Brain Games competition by 100 points. It was a fun event and we are proud of all our students. Keep up your school spirit!

Your child's safety is our top priority during pick-up. Please ensure you are parked in a designated parking space when picking up your child. Double parking creates a safety risk, as children may walk behind cars and become unseen. Also, please avoid driving through the exit to reach a parking space. We ask for your patience as we work to ensure your child safely reaches your vehicle. Thank you for your understanding!

We are only about $6,000 away from our goal of $150,000 for our security wall project. This addition will enhance student safety by providing coverage for movement between buildings, create a clear and welcoming entrance to the school, and enable us to secure the entire campus. Please consider donating for this project. You can be the one who completes this project.

Lunch order is to be placed with the homeroom teacher each day.

Tuesday - Quesadillas, rice beans, salad, salsa, juice or milk

Wednesday - Baked potato, chili beans, coleslaw, juice or milk

Thursday - Broccoli cheddar soup, garlic bread sticks, salad, juice or milk

Friday - Hotdogs, French fries, fruit salad, juice or milk
