Reading Rockstars
Congratulations to Kiera Hunter and Jaxsyn Cummins for receiving Mrs. Ariens’ weekly “Reading Rockstar of the Week” recognition!
Kiera is a cheerful and extremely kind student. She is always willing to cooperate with other students in a group and is helpful to classmates. Well done, Kiera!
Jaxsyn has a great attitude when entering the classroom. He is a student who appreciates the lessons and activities our teachers plan and always has a smile on his face. Great job, Jaxsyn!
Intro to Construction
Intro to Construction students recently completed the Electrical Installation Unit and their team's building now has lights!
Choir
On Saturday, April 11th, the FCMS Choir attended the Indiana State School Music contest at Shelbyville HS. Our students were well prepared and received a gold rating for their performance. They sang three songs: "Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel", "Homeward Bound" and a French folk song from medieval times called "J'ai vu le loup". The soloist for "Homeward Bound" was Joslyn Griswold. Great job everyone!
Special Guest in Mr. Sherwood's 6th grade class!
All 6th graders were happy to have Airman Will Sherwood as a special speaker on Friday, April 10.
The students were amazingly well behaved and learned about the many jobs the military has to offer. Well done Airman Sherwood and all 6th graders!
