We had a great short week! We have only 2 weeks left until Spring Break and the end of the 3rd quarter grading period so it is very important for students to remain focused and finish this grading period strong. Report cards will go home the week after Spring Break. Please encourage your child to visit their teachers during FamiLEE time to get extra help if they need it.

I want to continue to emphasize the importance of all students being here each day and on time. Good attendance is essential for achievement in school and we need your child here as much as possible so that we can move forward as a school community. When your child misses school for any reason, please send excuse notes to LHS.Attendance@hsv-k12.org.

• Attention Students and Parents/Guardians! Please note that students have the opportunity to visit their teachers for help during FamiLEE Time (11:30am-12:15pm) instead of going to clubs every Tuesday through Friday. Please see the attached schedule of teacher office hours and encourage your child to take advantage of this opportunity!

• The Lee High School Soccer teams are selling Little Caesars Pizza Kits to raise money for equipment and other expenses! They are convenient and delicious, perfect to have on hand for busy days. • Lee Seniors, if you ordered graduation invitations or supplies from Jostens, see Mrs. Fields in the library to pick up your package. If you have a balance due, you must show proof of final payment before your package will be released to you.

• Attention Juniors and Seniors! The Caring Link is offering free prom formal wear next Saturday, February 22nd from 9-4!

• Attention, FamiLEE! Auditions for the LHS Auxiliary Team, including the Silver Stars Dance Team, Lady Silks Flag Team, and the Blue Diamonds Majorette Team are coming up March 3-7! See Ms. Trayvick in room 240 with any questions!

• Shout-out to the Creative Writing Magnet! They enjoyed another Alabama Scholastic Press Association’s State Convention at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa! They attended workshops, competed in contests, and got a taste of campus life! Another #leesweep with fourteen litmag and individual awards in tow! Also, this is the second year in a row that the Lee High School’s literary magazine, Harmoniouslee, has been nationally recognized by NCTE’s REALM!
