Dear METCO Families,

We hope your weekend was a pleasant one. We are still actively seeking a non-voting parent representative for the School Committee. If you are interested, we would love to connect, please reach out to myself or the Superintendent to discuss further.

Our late buses have kicked off well! We ask that all students carefully check the schedule and their daily pickup locations, as changes are sometimes made. Students should also remember that after practices or games, the bus will not wait if they decide to get food so please be at the designated stop at the designated time.

Parents, please keep an eye on your child(ren)’s school updates, as Back-to-School Nights are happening this week and in the coming weeks for both Lane and BHS. For our high school families, we’re excited about the upcoming HBCU tours and information sessions, this is a great opportunity to explore college options and future planning.

As always, the late bus schedule for this week is attached. We thank you for your continued support!

Warmly,
The Bedford METCO Team

Parents, Families, & Alumni - Work for us, promote your business, & volunteer!

Want to get closer to the METCO community and contribute to this historic program? We have a number of opportunities to work for us, promote your business, or volunteer.

Work For Us

Throughout the year, our various districts are looking for bus drivers and/or bus monitors. If you have experience in either field and would like to be considered for one of these job openings when they become available, please fill out this interest form. We will follow up with you if an opportunity arises.

In addition, you can also look for job opportunities at school districts at Schoolspring and enter METCO in the search box.

Keep an eye out for opportunities at the METCO HQ office too!

Promote Your Business

We realize that our METCO community is made up of individuals who have businesses in a multitude of fields. We are creating a Directory to house this information so that we may tap you when we are looking for consultants and vendors to fulfill our needs. Take a few moments to complete this survey so that we may learn more about your business.

Volunteer

METCO has a number of ways in which you can get involved. We invite volunteers who have a variety of skills, talents and interest to give their time to METCO. You can engage in a variety of ways, from tutoring, volunteering, speaking at events, or sharing your METCO experience for marketing purposes.
