1.25.26 LL News: January House Assembly
Dear Families,
Here's hoping that the winter weather calms down a bit this week!
I'm also hoping that your family has taken advantage of the Abound Parenting App that is free to all Long Lake families! It's an easy way to help your child with reading skills and is done through an app that parents download to their phones.
The creator of the app is offering a free Zoom Workshop on Wednesday, January 28th at 7:00 p.m. She will share a little bit about how kids learn to read and what parents can do at home to build these skills. You can join using this link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/87445222484?pwd=G0YnmbDE3jeuTju00X0UvllSkRtSZO.1&jst=3
(Note: There were some hiccups with the app for Google Pixel phones, but the issue has been resolved. Please delete the app and reinstall to fix the issues.)
See you then!
Kate

If you are considering having your child attend kindergarten or junior kindergarten at Long Lake next school year, please fill out this form: LL Kindergarten/Jr.K Interest List.
