Principal's Message From Dr. Otway
Dear CPE Families,
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the wins from last year as we continue our focused work this year to ensure every child achieves both their typical/stretch growth. It was truly an honor to represent College Park Elementary on behalf of our entire school community while accepting the GaDOE Literacy Leaders recognition and the John Hancock Award for Handwriting, a reflection of the collective effort, dedication, and belief in what our students can accomplish.
As we move forward, our commitment remains clear: when school and families work together, strong outcomes follow. Your partnership, encouragement at home, and continued emphasis on learning habits make a powerful difference for our students each day.
As we head into February, we encourage you to keep supporting your child by identifying and nurturing their individual strengths and areas for growth, reinforcing the skills that lead to success both academically and socially. Consistent attendance and coming to school ready to learn are key parts of this journey.
Together, we will continue to build pride in our school and ensure every child thrives.
With gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead,
Dr. Maisha N. Otway
Principal, College Park Elementary School
