The Bobcat Brief

The Bobcat Brief: February 6, 2026
A Message from the Principal
Good afternoon, families,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a few important reminders and updates to help us continue keeping our school safe, organized, and welcoming for all.
Morning Car Drop-Off Safety
Please remember that students must remain in their vehicles until a staff member is outside and the car line has officially begun. We have recently seen an increase in students being dropped off and exiting vehicles before staff supervision is in place. This creates a safety concern, as students are unsupervised during that time. We appreciate your help and attention in ensuring a safe and smooth arrival each morning.
Family Table Reminder
If you have joined your child(ren) for lunch the past few months, you are likely familiar with our family table. As a reminder, only your own child(ren) may join you at the family table during lunch. This helps us maintain consistency, supervision, student privacy, and fairness for all students.
Cluster Showcase Date Update
Please note a change in date for our cluster showcase event. The showcase will take place on Thursday, February 19th, at Lady’s Island Middle School. We hope to see many of our families there to celebrate our students and their talents.
Thank you, as always, for your partnership, cooperation, and continued support of our school community. We truly appreciate you.
Warm regards,
Principal Goudy
