NLRSD Statement Regarding Immigration and Deportation

Recent news on immigration and deportation has raised concerns in our community.

Please read our statement regarding this issue here.

The statement has been translated into Spanish at this link.

School Choice Enrollment Period

The School Choice Enrollment Period is taking place now until May 1.

School Choice is the process of requesting a transfer for your student from the district in which you live to a district in which you do not live. Applications and the necessary documents must be submitted by May 1. Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee acceptance. Acceptance will be verified by a letter.

Spread the word! Encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to choose the NLRSD!

Fruit and Vegetables Discussed at Seventh Street

David Hall Jr. of K Hall & Sons Produce spoke to third and fifth graders at Seventh Street Elementary School about the incredible benefits of fruits and vegetables. Our students had the chance to learn about new and unfamiliar produce, gain insight into how to grow their own, and even taste some delicious samples. It was an informative and fun experience for everyone involved.

This hands-on experience is one of the career exposure opportunities that will be afforded to students at Seventh Street, which will be renamed North Little Rock 6 Academy of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences next school year.
