Where oh where is SPRING?!?! It has been so funny talking about weather with the kids this past bit! We would play outside in the backyard in the sun, only to walk out the front door 15 minutes later into the rain and snow! So funny! So annoying! So Spring!
We learned a lot this past month and did some fun projects, like blowing art that helped us figure out wind. We had lots of fun building with all kinds of materials and talked about all kinds of pets. We even had a classroom pet for a week, Strider, the bearded dragon! And our field trip to Lee's and the Sports Complex were AMAZING! We are working at writing all those letters, figuring out what letters make what sounds, and learning why knowing our letters and numbers is fun and important!
After Spring Break, we will learn about insects, flowers, the farm, birds, and have a fun science lab with experiments! We will also go on our class field trip to the fire station, details are below. Oh boy! It is going to be a FUN month to go to school at the Learning Turtle!
I will be gone the week after Spring Break. My family and I are going to be road tripping to the eclipse in Ohio. Miss Nancy will be the sub. She is lovely! I will be back to school on April 16.
