🍽️One Month In β€” Over 41,000 Meals Served! πŸŽ‰ 🍽️One Month In β€” Over 41,000 Meals Served! πŸŽ‰

We’re just one month into the school year, and wow β€” our food service team has already served 41,400 meals district-wide! From breakfast to lunch, students across all grade levels are enjoying delicious, nutritious meals every day. It’s been a fantastic start, and we love seeing our cafeterias full of happy, well-fed kids!

🍎 Local, Fresh & Totally Delicious! 🍐 🍎 Local, Fresh & Totally Delicious! 🍐

This month, our cafeterias are getting a tasty boost with Farm to School deliveriesβ€”and the produce is as local as it gets! We’re talking Honeycrisp apples purchased from LaMora Farm, just down the road from our schools, and sweet Asian pears purchased from Ontario Pear, on Lake Road in Ontario. Plus, students will dig into oven-roasted potatoes with fresh rosemary purchased from FLX Farm Fresh.
It’s farm-fresh flavor kids loveβ€”and a great way to support our local growers! πŸ₯”πŸπŸ

πŸ“„ Have You Turned in Your Income Eligibility Form? πŸ“¨ πŸ“„ Have You Turned in Your Income Eligibility Form? πŸ“¨

Even though all students will receive free breakfast and lunch this year, we kindly ask every family to complete a Household Income Eligibility Form if you haven’t already.

This form helps determine if your student would typically qualify for free or reduced-price mealsβ€”but more importantly, it brings critical funding and support to our district. These resources help provide:
πŸŽ“ Fee waivers for SAT/ACT exams
πŸ“„ Support with college entrance exams
πŸ“ Help covering college application costs

Filling out the form is quick, confidential, and makes a meaningful impact on our school community.

Once completed, you can:
πŸ“§ Email it to: Anna Flynn at aflynn@waynecsd.org
πŸ“¬ Or mail it to:
Wayne CSD

P.O. Box 155
Ontario, NY 14520

Thank you for helping us support every student!
