Students have been collaborating and creating up a storm in our library makerspace! Potholders, pom-poms, and popsicle sticks..oh my! DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP

In October we honored National Bullying Prevention Month and Digital Citizenship Week, learning about ways to be kind, safe, and responsible when going online. Students shared some some really smart thinking about how they will SAIL through the virtual world! We will continue to discuss and reinforce these concepts throughout the year using Common Sense Media and Google's Be Internet Awesome curricula.

HOUR OF CODE HOUR OF CODE

Hour of Code is coming to Cottage Lake Library December 9-13! Students of all ages will learn about coding concepts and how it is used, trying out their programming skills using activities from code.org. Please contact Mrs. Zager if you would be interested in helping out during Hour of Code Week, it would be wonderful to have parents in the field share their experience with students!
