• Students are not to return to school until 24 hours fever free with improving symptoms without the use of medications. This age group of kiddos are pretty honest in saying that they had meds. before school when they were feeling 'hot'.
• Eye Van consents are due no later than 9/9 - this is not a requirement, but an opportunity for free eye exam and glasses for kiddos. I sent home consents to students who wear glasses, have seen me for headaches, or if their teachers recommended. The Eye Van will be at Ztizman on 9/12. If your child did NOT receive a consent form but you would like to have this opportunity please reach out to the front office.
• Please check your child's temperature/symptoms before sending them to school - Right now a lot of the office visits are an influx of sore throats, headaches, and general malaise...some students are coming to my office right as they arrive before they even head to class.
• Big Smiles will be here 9/3-9/6. Forms were sent home in Thursday Folders - they have bright yellow and blue graphics.

Our goals as a community will be obtained with strong partnerships between the home and school. Please check out our website, download the free MVR3 App, and like us on Facebook.

Our Zitzman parent newsletter, called Chief Weekly, will be sent out every Thursday. This is intended to help your family best prepare for the week ahead so you have plenty of time to know about the 'next' thing going on!

Please communicate any Dismissal Changes THROUGH THE MAIN OFFICE! We will be using the Kid Account system to update teachers as you call in.... this includes SACC dismissal too! Our main office needs to know before 3:00pm each day if there is a change in your child's normal dismissal schedule; whether it be they go to SACC, go home on bus or are now a Car Rider.

*I do understand that emergencies and last minute plans can happen so if something comes up after 3:00pm please notify the office immediately. It gets confusing if you go to the teacher first. For consistency and safety all dismissal changes and communication should go through the front office.

Download the FREE MVR-III School District mobile app to streamline school communication on the go. Apple App Store & Google Play links can be found at the bottom of every district website page. Be sure to ALLOW Notifications & select SETTINGS to choose the school(s) you want to follow. More in-app features coming soon!

Studies show that a healthy breakfast gives children a head start to a successful day. The cost of lunch is $3.30 per day. Students may purchase extra milk for $.75 per carton. All money to be deposited into your student’s lunch account should be placed in an envelope with the student’s name, grade, teacher’s name, and the amount enclosed. There is also a feature through the parent portal to load money onto your student's account electronically.

MVR-III asks ALL families to complete the meal application to ensure continued funding to support ALL students in our district. Students from households that meet federal income guidelines are eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals. Periodic notices will be sent home regarding meal account balance and can also be accessed through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal System.
