Hallway Happenings PHJH Edition

😎 Welcome Back From Spring Break Patriots 😎
Good Evening Spectacular Patriots,
I hope you all had a glorious Spring Break and are feeling well rested and ready to make the final push to the end of the school year. We are heading into the sweet spot in the school year where our very dedicated and reliable house guests Mr. and Mrs. Winter Blues and their children, Overcast, Light Rain, and Gloomy start packing up their bags and ski gear to move on home to make room the more energetic side of the family Grandpa and Grandma Sunshine, Auntie Snow cones, and the very LOUD Triplets, Sunscreen, Beach Towel, and Otter Pop.
It is that special time of year where students make some of their most magical memories, both inside and outside of school, and we as educators start to shake off some of the extremely heavy winter cobwebs. There is a marked change that happens in school as the sun starts coming out, and I am not going to lie, I could not be more excited about it.
As we head into the next few weeks, students and teachers will be making their final big push to be prepared for state testing, to help the students feel confident and excited to show off what they have learned and how all of their hard work has paid off. If ever there was a time to give your Math, English, or Science teachers some love, and give your students your best halftime coaches pump up talk of all time, now is the time to do it.
Over the last four years, the growth our PHJH Patriots have made on our RISE scores has been OUTSTANDING, and we are so pumped to see what huge leaps they are going to continue to make this year.
Patriots, you are the most beautiful and breathtaking humans out there...
We can't wait to see you tomorrow!
As Always Patriots
Remember...
You are L💖VED!

Buenas noches Patriotas Espectaculares,
Recuerda...
¡Eres L💖VED!

PHJH We Are Having A Solar Eclipse Tomorrow Here Is What You Need To Know
Hi PHJH Families,
We sure are excited to see you back tomorrow. As you probably know, there is a solar eclipse tomorrow. Where we live in Utah we won’t see the entire eclipse, but between 11am and 1:30pm part of the sun will be eclipsed.
This eclipse window is during lunch recess for our students. Please let your kids know not to stare at the sun – our teachers will do the same. Your student’s teacher may or may not have glasses or other devices for them to enjoy the eclipse and you are welcome to send your student with something like that.
For more information about the eclipse please check out this KSL article. For more information about how to watch an eclipse without burning your eyes out visit this NASA page.
