Superintendent Search: Your Voice Matters
What qualities and characteristics should Jeffco’s next superintendent bring to the role? The Jeffco Board of Education wants to hear from you!
As the Board begins its search for the district’s next superintendent, community input will help inform the leadership qualities and priorities that matter most to our students, families, staff, and community.
You can participate in two ways:
Attend a November community forum. Multiple sessions will be offered in person and virtually. All community members are welcome to attend the forum that works best for them, and no registration is required.
Complete an online survey beginning November 13. Share your thoughts on the qualities you want to see in Jeffco’s next superintendent.
Your voice matters as we work together to provide a world-class education and prepare all Jeffco students for bright and successful futures.
Visit the Superintendent Search webpage to view the full forum schedule and check back November 13 for the survey.

REMINDER: COLOGNE AND OTHER FRAGRANCE SPRAYS
As a reminder, please do not send students to school with body sprays, perfumes, or colognes. Strong scents can be distracting and may cause discomfort or allergic reactions for others in the school environment. We encourage families to help students establish good hygiene habits by using stick deodorant instead. Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a comfortable and respectful learning environment for all students!
Volunteer Opportunity
Drop-in volunteer day for teens in 6th through 12th grade at the Belmar Library (555 S Allison Pkwy) on Saturday, November 14th from 9am-noon. This is a casual volunteering opportunity that doesn’t require any sign up ahead of time- teens can just show up at the library if they want to participate.

Student Benefits Application
Thanks to Healthy School Meals for All (HSMA), Jeffco Public Schools will continue to provide all students with one breakfast and one lunch at no cost through the 2026-27 school year, regardless of income eligibility. Research shows that students who are not hungry perform better in school. Even though meals are free for all students, families are strongly encouraged to complete a Student Benefits Application.
