Greetings PHMS Students and Families,
Well, September has arrived and so have the assignments. We are in full learning mode now and your child will start to have assignments to complete. If they don't finish assignments on time, they will get that item listed on their "To Do List". Our lifeguards will find time to offer time and help each day when their list gets longer. Tutoring is available as well for those needing more time after-school. It is always an adjustment but I know the kids will quickly adapt and get in the routine.

2) There are 34 adults here everyday to help ALL students and families! Count of Us

4) Middle School Basketball games started! Go Pirates!
5) Pre-Assesssments in all classes-Earning Tickets for a chance to win Delivery Fast Food Lunch!
6) PHMS Bus Safety Drill completed this week.
7) Student Council Speeches took place and students will vote on Tuesday. Winners will be on Stuco and those who did not get elected will serve on the Student Advisory Board. We are so proud of every student who wants to be a leader at PHMS.
8) Tutoring has started! Check the schedule, if your child needs some extra help-we are here!
9) Thanks to our cook, Stacy, students who did not have an office referral, detention, or suspension in August enjoyed a homemade chocolate chip cookie this week!
10) The September Library Challenge has begun. Participants can earn special treats! Check out information below for this month's focus.
