Message from the Principal

Dear SAC Families,

As we wrapped up the final quarter of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank our students, staff, and families for another wonderful year together. It has been inspiring to see the growth, hard work, and accomplishments of our students both inside and outside the classroom.

The last few weeks of school were filled with exciting events, celebrations, and opportunities to finish strong.

As summer approaches, I hope your family enjoys time to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories together. Thank you for your continued support and partnership throughout the school year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall!

Happy summer! 🍉

Sincerely,
Ms. Bartucci

St. Louis ~ Algebra Trip

After learning about parabolas, Algebra 1 students took a field trip to the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, organized by the SAC Math Department. This trip gave students the chance to deeply analyze the mathematical aspects of this engineering marvel. Students explored the beautiful city and discovered the activity museums. On their way back, they also made a stop in Springfield.

IJAS State Competition 2026

After receiving both the Top School Awards for the Paper and Poster Sessions in Region 2, SAC students continued their success by participating in the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Competition.

19 of the qualified students attended the IJAS State Competition in Carbondale, IL. It was a long journey, including a long drive, two full days of events, and a total of nine hours of presentations.
