April 2025
-- Message from the Directors --
Spring is in full swing, and with it comes the excitement of wrapping up another incredible school year at the Legacy Campus! Our students continue to achieve remarkable milestones—completing solo flights, earning industry certifications, and finishing college coursework that sets them up for future success.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to celebrate our seniors at the upcoming Senior Pinning Ceremony in May (invitations forthcoming). Additionally, we are actively completing registration for next year’s students, as our campus continues to grow across all pathways.
In April, we will host Orientation Nights for incoming students (see details below) and parent meetings for many of our Year 2 students who will be participating in work-based learning during their senior year. These experiences are a crucial step in preparing our students for the workforce and beyond.
Finally, a huge congratulations to our Apple Awards nominees, Chef Shaemus O’Brien and Mrs. Janell Ames—your dedication and impact on our students are truly inspiring!
Thank you to our students, staff, and families for your continued support. Let’s finish this school year strong!

Final Exam Schedules
Please view our final exam schedules below and click HERE for more information.
We have learned that some schools are having to adjust their final exam schedules to meet required minutes due to snow days. Please know that students need to prioritize their Legacy Campus final exams following the schedule below, and communicate with their teachers if there is a conflict.
Staff Appreciation Donations
As you may know, the DCSD Legacy Campus does not have their own PTO but our staff is still amazing and deserves some love! Please help us show them gratitude during Staff Appreciation Week (May 5th-9th) by providing items to stock the fridge/cupboard and set up a coffee bar. All donations need to be dropped off at the DCSD Legacy Campus front desk by Friday, May 2nd. Feel free to send items with your student. Use this LINK to sign up to donate!
