First Grade Updates
October 2025
Admin Corner:
Hello Charette Families and Students,
At Charette Charter High School, our top priority is creating a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment for every student. That means we take school safety very seriously. Students are not allowed to bring fake or toy weapons on school grounds, including water guns, toy guns, or any item that resembles a real weapon. These items can cause unnecessary alarm and disrupt learning. Students found with such items may be sent home and must return with a parent or guardian.
We also maintain a strong commitment to student well-being by prohibiting the use or possession of substances such as alcohol, vaping products, marijuana, or any other controlled substances on school grounds or at school events. Students found in possession of, or under the influence of, these substances will be sent home and required to return with a parent or guardian.
Our goal is to ensure that every student can thrive in a safe, healthy, and focused learning environment. Thank you for helping us uphold these expectations. Together, we can continue to build a school community where students feel safe, supported, and ready to succeed.
As we move toward the end of the term, remember that every student has the opportunity to finish strong. Teachers are offering after-school support on Mondays and Wednesdays to help students stay on track and achieve their goals. Spirit Week is coming up from October 27–31, with Pink Out Day on October 24 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness—an opportunity to show school spirit while supporting a great cause!
At Charette, we celebrate every success, big or small. Whether it’s consistent attendance, effort in class, academic progress, or participation in school events, your hard work matters and deserves recognition. Let’s finish this term strong, stay focused, and support one another as we continue to grow together!
Have a great weekend!

🎓 Class of 2026 Capstone Corner
The Class of 2026 has officially begun their Capstone journey! These projects allow seniors to explore real-world issues, express their creativity, and demonstrate the skills they’ve developed throughout high school.
💭 How Families Can Stay Involved:
Check in regularly: Ask your student to show you what they’ve been working on—it’s a great way to stay connected and show support.
Provide encouragement: Some projects can feel overwhelming. A quick “I’m proud of you” goes a long way!
Be their audience: Offer to listen to them practice their presentation or review their visuals—it helps build confidence.
Celebrate progress: Finishing each stage of the Capstone is a big deal—recognize the effort it takes to get there!
