Bus Badges Bus Badges

To help enhance student safety, Crestwood Elementary and all elementary schools districtwide will begin using a bus badge tracking system beginning the second week of school.

ALL students will receive a tag with their name and a barcode associated with their student ID number, which will be scanned when students get on and off the bus. (The barcode on this tag will also be used for students who request breakfast at school.) The badges allow designated staff and parents/guardians to know the exact date, time and location that a student enters and exits the bus.

Crestwood Elementary will distribute its bus badges during our first few days of school by their teacher or a helper to ensure it is fastened securely. Badges will attach to student backpacks via retractable keychain.

To securely view your child’s bus information, parents/guardians must register and log onto the My Ride K-12 app (Apple | Android). View step-by-step instructions (Spanish) on how to register your account, download the bus app and view your child's bus information.
