Last Newsletter of the Year!

Dear Wildcat Families,

As we close the final chapter of this 2025-2026 school year, I find myself filled with gratitude, pride, and so much appreciation for this incredible Wildcat community. This year has been full of learning, laughter, growth, resilience, and unforgettable memories. From our first day of school to all our fun PTA and school-sponsored events and celebrations that filled our campus, our students have continued to amaze us with their kindness, perseverance, and spirit.

To our teachers and staff: thank you for the heart you pour into this work every single day. Your dedication, creativity, patience, and care make an immeasurable difference in the lives of our students. The impact you have reaches far beyond the classroom walls.

To our families: thank you for your partnership, encouragement, volunteerism, generosity, and trust. Thank you for the early morning routines, homework help, cheering from the sidelines, attending events, donating supplies, and sharing your children with us each day. Schools are strongest when families and staff work together, and this year was a beautiful reminder of the power of community.

As summer begins, I hope your days are filled with rest, adventure, laughter, and time with loved ones. I encourage everyone to continue reading, exploring, creating, and making memories together. Summer is a wonderful time to recharge and reflect on all that has been accomplished.

Thank you for helping make this school year such a meaningful one. It has truly been an honor to serve as your principal and to be part of this extraordinary community.

Wishing you all a safe, happy, and memorable summer. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!

With gratitude,
Andrea Tapia
Principal

Poetry in a Test Tube Competition- ACE Recognition

Congratulations to one of our Wildcats, Natalie. Natalie entered the Poetry in a Test Tube Competition. Her poem below will recognized at an Awards ceremony with the mayor. Congratulations, Natalie!

Lilly Wonders

By Natalie Whyte

The sun shines

The water flows

The lizards climb

The flowers grow

Lilly looks up

And then she looks down

She admires all the nature all around

Lilly loves science

She wants to learn more

What is a water cycle?

And what is it for?

She went to ask Sarah

A scientist she knew

Asked her some questions

Like why’s the sky blue?

She gave her some books

And bug catching tools

And said to have fun

It's very very cool

She caught some bugs

And read the books up

I want to be a scientist when I grow up!

Right At School Right At School

A Message from Right At School

Parents, let's talk about those extra hours in your child's day. There are 24 hours total- about 10-12 spent sleeping and 6 hours in school. That leaves around 6 precious hours ...and that's where the fun begins!

At RAS,we turn afterschool time and school breaks into meaningful, screen free adventures your child will actually look forward to.

Before School: Before the bell rings, let your child dive into a morning of adventure, creativity, and excitement with Right Club’s Before School program! Drop your kid off when it works for your schedule! Our programs are flexible so kids can join in whenever they arrive, so they can start their day in a fun and easy-going way. Kids enjoy different activity stations like Right Moves fun fitness and Inspiration Stations where they can exercise their creativity.

After School: During Right Club After School, hosted on-site at your kid's school, kids have time to get homework done, then take part in games, crafts, and STEM challenges that keep them engaged in learning (and off their screens). Our 2025-26 curriculum offers 19 brand-new journeys, each with countless activities that go beyond the classroom to help your child discover who they are and what they’re passionate about.

Break Camps (Winter Break, Spring Break, and Non-School Days): When school is out, fun is IN with RAS Camps! Take part in a week-long adventure full of STEM activities, learning challenges, and wacky art projects. RAS Camps are flexible. Your family can pick the number of days you need care, and drop off and pick up when it suits your schedule.

Summer Camp: RAS Camp’s Adventure Weeks are packed with excitement, from field trips to mystery guests and more! Every day comes with the classic day camp experience: water games, STEM activities, arts & crafts, outdoor play, and more. Before and after camp care are included!
