Riley Recap - VOLUME 5 ISSUE 13

Dear Riley Parents, Guardians, and Scholars,

As we approach the end of another exciting nine weeks, I want to thank everyone for their continued dedication and hard work. The 3rd quarter grading period will conclude on March 12, 2026, and we are getting closer to the finish line.

I encourage all scholars to continue putting forth their best effort. If you are experiencing challenges in any of your classes, please communicate with your teachers so we can provide the support you need. Remember, you are not in this alone we are here to help you succeed.

We also have SAT Day scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2026. This testing day is for juniors only, and they will be the only scholars on campus. Scholars in grades 9, 10, and 12 will participate in an asynchronous e-learning day.

Thank you for your continued commitment to Riley High School and to your scholar’s success. Together, we will continue to grow and achieve great things.

Congratulations to Riley Wildcats junior Dakori Parker on reaching the 1000-point mark for his career in last night’s victory over Bowman Academy.

South Bend artist NLU Hendawg intentionally uses the number “3” in place of the letter “E” in his album titles, song names, and social media posts as a tribute to his late best friend and cousin, Te'shan Godwin.

Te’shan Godwin passed away in a car accident on September 29, 2018, and the “3” serves as a symbolic way for Hendawg to keep his cousin’s memory alive in everything he creates.
