A MESSAGE FROM OUR ADMINISTRATION
Greetings Jacket Family!
Dear Yellow Jacket Families,
As we come to the end of Week 5, I find myself reflecting on just how quickly this school year is moving. Five weeks ago, we opened our doors with excitement, anticipation, and a little bit of uncertainty about what the year would bring. Today, I see students are finding their rhythm, teachers who are building strong relationships and a school community that is truly connected. I want you to know how proud I am of our students.
Every day, I see examples of students making good choices, helping one another, working through challenges, participating in class, representing Buford with pride, and simply becoming young adults they are capable of becoming.
I am equally grateful for our teachers and staff. They come to school each day with the important responsibility of not only teaching our students, but also encouraging them, challenging them, listening to them and believing in them.
As parents and families, you are an important part of that work. Please continue to talk with your students about their day, encourage them to attend school consistently and celebrate their successes.
At Buford High School, we are committed to creating a place where students know they matter, every adult feels responsible for student success and everyday is an opportunity to grow.
Thank you for your continued trust, encouragement, and partnership.
Most importantly, thank you for sharing your children with us. It is an honor to serve as their principal.
