Parents and Guardians,
During the Summer of 2021, a discussion started regarding opportunities for future course offerings for the students at Galesburg High School. During the first semester, meetings were conducted by each department, with the involvement of high school administration, to begin creating the GHS Course Description Book. After many revisions by the high school staff, and in cooperation with our central office administration and members of the board of education curriculum committee, we are happy to present the GHS Course Description Book for 2022-2023. The counselors will be hosting a pre-orientation session next week for each grade level to talk about the course catalog, changes for next year, and information about scheduling courses. Pre-Orientation will take place on the following days and times:
Class of 2023 (juniors)- Mon. Feb. 14- 10:30-11:05- Theil Gym
Class of 2024 (sophomores)- Tues. Feb. 15- 10:30-11:05- Theil Gym
Class of 2025 (freshmen)- Wed. Feb. 16- 10:30-11:05- Theil Gym
