Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year at Tuscan!

Dear Tuscan Family~

Welcome back to our returning Tuscan families, welcome to our new Tuscan families and a special welcome to our 2021-2022 Kindergarten Class at Tuscan!

As you know, our District Reopening Task Force is working to finalize the nuanced details of our September reopening. A districtwide detailed return to school guidebook will be provided to families around mid to end of next week. Subsequently, as soon as possible, before school reopens for the fall, Tuscan specific details will be shared, in a Tuscan School 2021-2022 Return to School Guide. It is understandable that families are eagerly awaiting details about Tuscan School reopening and we thank you for your patience.

We are still living through extremely fluid times and when needed, in accordance with our district’s COVID-19 student safety protocols and practices, the Tuscan School 2021-2022 Return to School Guide will be updated and revisions will be highlighted in future editions of the Tuscan Tidings Newsletter.

Tuscan has supportive, actively involved, and generous parents. Throughout the school year, the Tuscan PTA works closely with the school to provide enriching experiences for Tuscan’s children. The Tuscan PTA website http://www.tuscanpta.org/ offers a wealth of information and reminders about Tuscan School and Tuscan PTA events. We encourage curiosity, creative thinking, problem-solving, persistence and perseverance. We are deeply dedicated to teaching in ways to expand our students’ capacity to demonstrate empathy, kindness, understanding, respect and appreciation for all members of our community. Please be assured that, Tuscan’s children will be deeply cared for and treated with dignity, respect and love.

The Kindergarten Experience at Tuscan

The Kindergarten experience at Tuscan School is an exciting time for all of us and our goal is to create a firm foundation for a life-long love of learning. We know that learning unfolds uniquely for each child and we are dedicated to providing our students with a safe, healthy, and firm foundation for successful learning throughout each school year.

We have designed a Virtual Kindergarten Orientation to offer valuable information about the district’s Kindergarten curriculum and the wonderful Kindergarten experience at Tuscan. Please stay tuned for more information about our Virtual Kindergarten Orientation that will take place before the first day of school. Until then, please join our school community in the joys of summer reading by exploring the link below to Tails & TALES Summer Reading 2021.
