September 29, 2023
Dear Weymouth Public Schools' Community,
As we wrap up the first month of the school year, we wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering dedication and support. The success of our students in these early weeks is a testament to the incredible teamwork between teachers, students, and families, and we are truly appreciative of the role you play in this partnership.
Your commitment to your children's education has not gone unnoticed. The effort you put into ensuring they are prepared, engaged, and excited for each day of school is inspiring. We understand that this year has brought its own set of challenges, and yet you have risen to the occasion with resilience and determination
As we move forward into the rest of the school year, please know that we are here to support you and your children every step of the way. Together, we will continue to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for your child's academic and personal growth.
Once again, thank you for your extraordinary efforts in this first month of school. Your involvement is a shining example of what can be achieved when we work together as a community, and we look forward to the exciting learning adventures that lie ahead.
Best Regards,
Robert Wargo
Superintendent

Effective November 1, 2022, Massachusetts has added textiles to the waste bans, which means new state rules require textiles be kept out of the trash so they can be recycled or donated for use. Textiles should not be placed in your curbside recycling cart as they damage the sorting equipment at the recycling centers.
So you might ask, " if we don’t put textiles in the trash or our recycle bins, what are we supposed to do?"
There are Textile Recycling Bins at every Weymouth Public School!
WHS has bins for each "Class of" and CTE (Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors). CTE contributions will support SkillsUSA.
Chapman has bins for each grade - 6, 7, and 8.
Every elementary school and Johnson also have bins.
